Weather: Lovely, warm, sunny.
The plan for today was some preparation for Sue's birthday party here on Sunday afternoon. Sue's son Stuart came and helped put up 2 borrowed gazebos in the garden and set up tables in the conservatory. He was here for morning tea and a relaxing lunch. And another middle of nowhere cricket ground but with sight screens and covers the envy of many clubs.
Did someone mention golf? At the Cleeve Hill Golf Club walkers get right of way. The course is littered with walkers as numerous trails cross here and there are heaps of walkers, dog walkers and trail bike riders and the few golfers are certainly outnumbered.

We covered 6 miles and locked, thru 7 locks in 4 hours. What a team! At the lock from the Stratford Basin to the River Avon, there were about 200 people watching and taking pictures of our maneuvers. Luckily, we got some assistance from experts who are members of the Avon Navigational Trust, so we looked good on the fourth lock for newbie ...
