Ben & Jerry
Kørte gennem White Mountains og til Ben & Jerry's icecreamefactory til rundtur og smagning (ummmm). Det bedste var næsten kirkegården for afdøde smage. Der var lavet et vers til hver smag som ikke mere bliver lavet :-). Derfra kørte vi til Middelburg i Vermont, hvor vi boede i et herligt gammelt hotel på torvet i byen. Om aftenen regnede det (det havde vi ikke prøvet før)
Journey to New England
Not much to say for the next day; sadly another long driving day. We'd skipped out on visiting the Chicago zoo (too cold, and we figured the animals would be hiding indoors), and Obama's neighbourhood (still convinced we'd seen him in Washington). Finally managed to fix our tyres, so we've only got a handful of annoying startup beeps left when we start the car. Snow
... beautiful meal. Glenn wants you to know he had 'huntsman's lasagne', (this bit is not for the vegetarians amongst you so move to the next paragraph) it had elk, moose and deer meat in it, in a Jack Daniels sauce. Glenn was so hungry he says he'd have eaten it if it had have been made out of Squirrel, Beaver and Raccoon.

Crossed into New York State
Crossed the bridge over Lake Champlain into New York State at Ticonderoga, and headed south on I-87. We had a room waiting at another Evergreener, south of Albany, NY and had a long drive yet to go, and it was already dark. No more photos today - just put the pedal to the metal and booked south on I-87 and I-88 and arrived at 10pm at our destination.
