We started out at the Ticonderoga, the last steamboat paddlewheel boat built on Lake Champlain. This museum is really cool because you can go everywhere, climb all over the boat and there are docents here and there to answer all your questions.

We finished our itinerary.  All hotels are booked. AND... We figured out where we're going after Hershey, PA - Albany, NY!  Hopefully we'll get to visit our friend Bob and his wife who live near there.  Plus it's a nice half way distance to home and we'll still have time to visit Steamtown National Historic Site in Scranton on our way.  My dad loved trains so it seemed like ...

    Our plans go south

We're going to Nashville! Made reservations last night just outside in the town of Springfield. Something less than $100/night including tax. (And 4.5% cash back from Ebates!) Nashville was WAY too expensive. I think the lowest price we found was $166 and it was an Econolodge!

Next up, Louisville. Going to see the ponies at Churchill Downs.

Speaking of Churchill Downs, Happy Kentucky Derby Day! Did you watch? Who did you pick to win? I ...

... Pico with Doug on Sunday, the warmest day of my stay, and two partial
days with just a few runs on Wednesday and Thursday at Killington. Monday and
Tuesday barely got above 0*F and were much below with the windchill factor,
good days to stay inside. What can I say – if it’s not one thing, it’s another!
I did get a lot of writing done, though, over the four days I was alone at the
ski house during the week, along with some much needed time by myself.
