... hotel for a coffee" I say. This is our first comfort break since Bristol and it's already nearly 3pm, so it's well deserved. To be fair, the overlook is a good one and does exactly what we need it to, so I do feel a cup of coffee is the least we can give the CCH for borrowing their car park. We head inside.

At this point the strangeness begins, and although there's a vibe, to be honest we didn't quite get what it was right away. In the foyer we are greeted ...

Off we go to our B&B. We are only here one night on route to Portsmouth. In the morning we take a walk down by the sea. They have a nice little pedestrian area where you can stroll along as well. It is another nice day and the dogs are all out playing in the surf. Dogs are prohibited from the beach from May to September, but it is October now and it is play time for puppies.

... and roll another dice to show if you hit the enemy or not. The other game was when you had a flag and you rolled the dice to see what your mission was. The first to complete the mission wins. It was like a board game with a story in it. Dressing up as one of the Navy team was really fun, I dressed up as the person who guides the plane onto the ship, while Alexander dressed up as the person who loads missiles onto them. It was really fun.
