... to Blakeney – again me and John have been there before, but mum and dad haven’t, we look round the book sale and then a small craft fair before taking a stroll along the harbour.

Last stop for dinner before going back was in Wells-next-the-sea where we go into Whin Hill Cider shop. Mum, dad and John taste some ciders and ma and pa purchase a couple of bottles. Fish and chips for dinner tonight – yum!
Wells next the Sea, England, United Kingdom travelmonster... the car – wonderful.

We stop in the village we are staying in and make a visit to the local pub for a drink. Dad and John have a pint of the local beer, which they both enjoy and we bump in to the other people from where we are staying. It turns out that they had been to Castle Acre and to a different bird reserve today, so we chatted to them for a while about where we’d all been and what we’d seen etc. before finishing up our drinks and heading back.
Titchwell, England, United Kingdom travelmonster... old voice sang along like she was Ella Fitzgerald. As we looked around it was apparent that at 41 we were actually the youngest people in the audience, except for those kids forced to go along but their gummy grandparents.
172 words into the show and Ken along with the only four people in the audience enjoying it (who happened to be sitting front and back of us) was getting on my nerves waving his stick under his legs and bumbling through his act like a ...

Skegness, England, United Kingdom madcaravanner... food inside of me, it was time to leave the town, and draw the 'Skegness chapter' to a close. Reflecting upon the experience, it was *************eering one for myself, simply because it is a place visited on numerous occasions in the past, but it always leaves me wondering just what a foreign visitor would make of a town of this nature, which typifies the tacky, yet somehow alluring nature of a fair number of British coastal towns.
Skegness, England, United Kingdom jollyjetsetter... from the doctors.

As we arrived, I warned Mick that Connie was located in a ward that looked more like a geriatric center. Not one of the five women in the other beds was under 80. Mick promised he would try his best not to hit on any of them. Connie was in pretty good spirits, all things considered. She had no internal injuries and the pain was manageable now. Our concern at this point was when she would be released and whether she would ...
King's Lynn, England, United Kingdom kochwebb... is also what they do: show appreciation to the other bands, the warm ups or the headliners. That is how they are, and why they are also liked. Well, it is not something taken away from oneself to show support to others too :D

This evening was maybe the first that I felt that I am an observer, still. So I stayed a bit further and took only wide angle shots… it took a while to banish that feeling and proceed closer. Close-ups, they are still a bit unique in this process ...
Boston, England, United Kingdom phoinix... We were the only tenters. The rain had stopped a bit, so put up the tend and then drove back down the road for some fish and chips- not too bad. After dinner we decided to go for a walk, but it was already so dark we couldn’t see a thing. The toilets had no light either…or warm water… So got into bed, it was only 9.30pm! It was freezing cold, so not the best sleep.
