    ... then up to Collins and headed for home. As we walked we saw lots of other restaurants which seemed less expensive than The Tides some of which also had good live music. We eventually found a bus stop and waited a while but no bus came so we kept walking to the next stop. We sat for a few minutes and then kept walking back to 21st street and our hotel. A couple of buses did pass but we didn't catch them. Back to the hotel about 10, some blog and bed about 11.

    ... and paired with the amazing weather, it was one of the most tropical feeling places I had ever been to. I met up with Jenny, the English girl I had met in NYC.     ... something we were all keen on doing. The park was tiny compared to many of our wildlife parks in Australia, the main attraction being the airboats. We saw some baby gators, some slightly older gators and many, many adult gators. They have over 300 gators at this park. Gators are different to crocodiles in terms of their nature – they are docile and not all that aggressive.

    ... a Cuban restaurant and went there for lunch. I had a special Cuban steak.

    Then we walked to the beach. We found a place to sit and went in the water straight away as the temperature is like 35C. There are lots of jellyfish in the water too. A guy was killing the jellyfish and I saw when he picked it up they had no stingers so that was good.
