Because we had a good 3 days in Athens before our tour of the Greek Islands were to start, our next two days in the city were more relaxing. I visited Greece August 2005. I stayed in Athens for the first few days, big city and the people were ok. Not as friendly as in Canada tho. Its hard to find good food around the city centre. You have to go to Monisteraki to find the good places to eat. Great souvlakis. Omonia Square is a great place to shop. Hondas Center is like one big shopping mall ...
