We met with Ayu, our coordinator, early this morning to find out more details for the rest of the week and then headed back to the Mansion Resort pool. We had lunch there and I was happy to find they had pho on the menu. We headed back to Penestanan to the coffee shop where we were told to meet the group for the painting class but did not find …

... to deprive poor people of what is essentially just a few dollars to us, but quite a lot to them. It's a difficult balance. Home again where we swam and rested. We went out shopping for ...

Actually, no stage, just a strip of space between the platform of offerings and priests, and the Gamelan and audience. Eventually a wonderful masked ...

... the back of a bemo for a kilometer ride to the hotel. Not that we are lazy but this is all in the price of the boat. In just under an hour and a half we went door to door. From shuttle, to the boat, to the second shuttle, this was the most efficient service we have experienced in a long time.
Our first impression of the island was not good. The beach was covered with litter. Bunga 7 Bungalows, surprisingly however, looked just as nice in person as it did ...
