We met with Ayu, our coordinator, early this morning to find out more details for the rest of the week and then headed back to the Mansion Resort pool. We had lunch there and I was happy to find they had pho on the menu. We headed back to Penestanan to the coffee shop where we were told to meet the group for the painting class but did not find …

They whole evening was such a special thing to be a part of and it makes me so happy that I am living in this amazing community where people are happy to let me be a part of their special days. ...

      My 3rd weekend

A travel blog entry by eloiseroseby on Feb 02, 2015

On Saturday morning we got up and had an early breakfast before setting off on our 4 hour walk around the Ubud area. The walk started off on road though the villages on the outskirts of Ubud, they were very lovely and had quiet little shops and places to eat and stay. From the moment we stepped of the road and onto the path it was beautiful. We were surrounded by rice fields, palm trees and thick greenery as we walked down some incredibly steep steps ...
