This morning we left Martinborough and drove about two hours to Castlepoint. Castlepoint is a beach settlement on the east coast. We spent an hour or so there then decided to head to Napier.

Her chosen activity for the morning was our much anticipated round of golf, so we packed up the cars and off we went. Riversdale has a 9 hole course, very attractive to look at and with hills, gullies and palm trees, and as a palm tree is my icon it seemed very fitting for my first ever round of golf.
