Her chosen activity for the morning was our much anticipated round of golf, so we packed up the cars and off we went. Riversdale has a 9 hole course, very attractive to look at and with hills, gullies and palm trees, and as a palm tree is my icon it seemed very fitting for my first ever round of golf. And we are still far from that reality so plenty of time for deep breaths, missing folks and fun along the way! We are just back from the Tongagiro Crossing- ‘The best one day trek in the world’ (apparently) across volcanoes, 40 MPH winds, alpine-esque landscapes and forestry- truly fitting everything into a 6 hours trek... it was very pretty and facile.
