Today we had one mission – to explore a small, little known stretch of coast line known as Castle Point. Castle point has an old lighthouse which is perched on top of what used to be coral reef on the sea bed but was pushed up by volcanic activity 2.4 million years ago – this meant that the rock was full of sea shells and fossils (and also really sharp). A lovely start to today as it was my sister’s birthday, and the pre-ordered sunshine was in full attendance so we had breakfast outside. But they had to be up early! 28/02/2014 Hef woke up at 5.30am and I took him to meet the other boys. I went back to bed and woke up at 7.45am. I had breakfast and got ready to go to the stadium to watch Trish in the open woolhandling world heats. Trish wasn't on until the last heat. By ...

New Zealand Revistited

... tempted too, and excited about learning a new method of travelling.

But for the here and now its time to concentrate on the yoga. NZ is sublime but painfully expensive for us with their present economic boom, surprisingly even more than OZ... And cold! So no chance of white water rafting this time around for us hobo’s on a budget and used to the tropics! Its time to get in touch with our hobbit sides and make the most of CAKE while we have an oven to bake!!!
