The hotel is right in the heart of Brisbane and in walking distance of most of the major attractions in the city center. The rooms are clean and nice with enough amenities for a big family.

We made it to Australia! Our flight from LA to Brisbane was 14 hours long but was pretty manageable. We slept for about 8 hours and there were many TV shows and movies to watch to pass the time. The plane we traveled on was by far the largest we have ever been on. We sat next to a very friendly Aussie who lives in Brisbane and we hope to connect with his again during our time here in the country. Our first week in ...

It seems that my hay fever was a false alarm, Ian's plan to prove this involved taking us to the Botanical Gardens at Mount Coot-tha, there are great views of the city from the top and loads and loads of pollen!! Fortunately for everyone, especially Ian I survived. We had a lovely stroll round the gardens and saw lots of water dragons and birds as well as the flowers.

In the afternoon we went into Brisbane ...

I am going to look into the other 2 bridges you can climb, ones in Sydney and the others in Auckland New Zealand, and hey I am heading there in a week! And the one in Sydney ...

I haven’t really been up to anything too exciting except going out to the club which is about 10 steps from our hostel – no joke. The club is attached to our hostel so it’s ...
