Not sure if I’ll be able to post a blog or not. Remembrance Day isn’t observed here, but we’ll be doing our own remembering, especially with the recent killings in Canada. I didn’t take any pictures this week so I’ll include some other ones from ...

... were allowed to leave early so 4 of us took a taxi to another part of the city to a spa run by a friend of a friend. We each had a pedicure ($17 for 1 hrs) and a hair wash for an extra $5. We're not talking just an ordinary hair wash, oh no, this is a couple of washes, rinses and head massage then blown dry by a talented guy who turns blow drying into a dramatic art form. Imagine, Tim passed this up to stay back for a supper at McDonalds ...

... drove to the end of the street only to stop traffic again by pulling another uturn. In this case our driver rolled down his window and tried to spit on the guy's car. I never got to talk to him about it, because he doesn't speak English, but I agreed with his approach. This is the main reason we will not be driving in China!! I must say though that it all seems to work, we see very few accidents because drivers, I think, know something odd is going to happen and are always ...
