Slept really well - so peaceful on the junk - but up early for tea and cake - we didn't quite make it to tai chi! Oops! Nic and H went kayaking and otters went to tunnel cave in the tenders h had a good swim in the sea as he jumped in after kayaking but was left there for ages! ... queen hotels so you might go to a **** one but ours was OK. the significance of the food tho is they has s,m,l,xl portions i went for a large chicken noodle soup it arrived in a plant pot for a mid life bonsai tree it was flipping massive best meal size Ive had yet. Train leaves tomorrow outa here at 8.30am to Dong Ha like every time the train is 1 hour late to leave great we have 3 pancakes instead nice start!!

... the trail. The trail was paved in concrete and had some steps. For awhile. What was in reality to be a short while. The paved concrete was the only short thing of this hike. ... a helmet. Admittedly the helmet is somewhat less robust than our bicycling helmets, but it is a helmet. I will make you a 90% promise however, I will not ride any more motorcycles in Hanoi. I say 90% only because while it is my intention to 100% not ride any more motorcycles in Hanoi, I want to leave a little leeway in case I get stuck somewhere and a motorcycle taxi is my only option. Spoilsport!
