          It was a big lay in this morning! Starting to sound old when i say I can't handle to many late nights in a row, specially a 3am kind of late night! Didn't do much till lunchtime when D went out and got some proper American fried chicken. They have things that they call biscuits which are kind of like a bread version of a scone.           As we turned off the highway the storm eased and by the time we arrived at the campground the rain had stopped thank goodness; we didn't fancy setting up in the rain, especailly after all that driving - we had driven over 400 miles.

          ... koolaid! Rosalind had hot chocolate. We had been so tired and sleepy earlier, now we're still tired but wide awake. Rosalind hit the hay shortly after eating. I made it to bed at about 0330.

          Apparently Texas is unique in their animal treatment policies. Many people keep these kind of wild animals as pets. Why would you keep a baby lion as a pet? They are obviously going to grow up and eat you... And Baylor University. Do you know they use a real black bear as their mascot? Horrible. So here they have the 'retired' Baylor University bear.
