The Lodge and Spa at Callaway Gardens Pine Mountain

After picking my mate Rich up from Houston on Sunday, we have spent the last few days travelling along the Gulf of Mexico. Later on we headed back and just watched some program called "Cake Boss" it's about a bakery in new york that makes amazing cakes for special occasions it is a funny program. We decided that the next day we were gonna head back to Denham Springs so we could have a few days chilling before we headed to Austin, Texas on Saturday.

... about 7pm Louisiana Time which was 8pm Georgia time (forgot about the stupid time differences). Ashley's Mum and Dad were staying for the week and as we got there Ashley's Mum had just finished making dinner. It was "chicken fried Steak" weird I hear you cry, your right. It's like KFC without the chicken and with a steak in the fried batter instead. It's nice but I can't get my head around it lol!

We will leave on Friday, July 10th from Christ Community Church in Columbus, GA for a 10 day mission trip with SIFAT (Servants in Faith and Technology) where we will continue some construction projects, conduct vacation bible school for the children at the Internado and some children from the village. It is also our hope to visit at least one other small village while we are there. But most of all..we will strive ...

I realize that a lot of this entry is some really boring stuff - hell, I'm even bored writing it, but I wanted to check this out and make sure it was something I wanted to do on the trip. So for those of you that enjoy the next 2 weeks - I'm glad. But for those of you that would rather do ANYTHING else than read about me . . . believe me, I understand![

Well, it's pretty much official now; bought my ticket (okay, mom bought the ticket), and I'll be leaving here on the 21st of June! Still have to get clothes, choose my courses, and other general little things. There probably won't be any updates until I get ready to leave or have already left. See you all!

I actually felt like a part of me was missing, like it was my arm or something. That is so sad! (And just so you know, luckily, no emergencies happened while my phone and I were separated.)

Tried to go over to the centinial park across from the CCN Studios, this was created for the Olympics but was full of homeless everywhere so decided to give it a miss. Downtown altanta is quite intimidating. So its probably best to say we've seen the worst of Atlanta.
