Hiked trail to Smith's Spring. 285N thru Carlsbad NM then 82W to Cloudcroft. ... camera to go elk hunting. It was so funny, I tried to hide behind a large tree, thinking if I can't see the elk it cannot see me. After reaching the big tree I had nothing to hide behind and tried to walk as softly as my "little feet" would allow me through the dry grass. I stopped every 10 yards to take another photo.
