We decided to go to Tahoe using a Worldmark deal. We stayed the night in El Dorado with Robin on December 29th to help break up the drive. We left bright and early to drop JT off at Heavenly daycare and we went boarding. Well we happened to go on a day where it's Tahoes coldest and windiest. We only did a few runs because only 2 lifts were opened, Stagecoach and comet. The visibility was so bad and he wind was worse. When there was a gust of wind, it was impossible to see. It ...

With him is his friend, who works not too far away helping out with horse ...

Mileage: 10 miles Altitude Gain:1500 ft. Today we awoke at beautiful Susie lake. We both were sick of instant oatmeal so we didn't eat much for breakfast. The climb up to Aloha Lake was pretty fast I think the "horses could smell the barn". We stopped at the lake striped to our skivvies an dove into the crystal blue waters. It was bracing but swimable! We then ...

The grown ups woke up with slightly sore heads - I put it down to the altitude. After a relaxed breakfast, including Olly's famous strawberry smoothies, we headed out on the short drive to Northstar mountain.

Northstar is one of Tahoe's several ski resorts. Tahoe is a genuine year-round outdoor playground. Its beauty beckons you out to enjoy its natural riches whether on skis, snowboard, bike, boat or ...

... snowmen and so much more! Bring it on! We all dressed in our daggiest Christmas sweaters for dinner at the hotel- which was a buffet. It had a great selection of dinner and dessert but I was not hungry tonight, feeling a little rundown I think! So we had an early night in order to recover for snowboarding tomorrow. Can't wait! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas! Much love, Simone ...
