... as possible, but I hear the wifi isn't great so if you don't hear from us for a week or so, please don't panic we will be enjoying our adventure of a lifetime and will bore you for years to come with our stories! ... to the top left along the banks of the river. There was plenty of activity with joggers, cyclists and 4 man and. 8 man boats from the local boat club sculling up and down . The weather had been really kind to us, and with no wind the temperature was really warm as the sun set. We had a light sandwich. ( after our large lunch) for evening meal (great salad garnish ! ) in a local pub before retiring back to our posh drapers hall boutique ...

... Dickens repeatedly ate in the hotel’s dining room.

It’s definitely old. The floors everywhere creak, in our room, the hallway, and the stairs. There is an elevator that moans sorrowfully as it reaches its destination. It’s so loud that it is shut off during the night.

... and a civil war ghost haunted castle !!! We felt like we should be sitting at ether end of the 400 year old table that was 30 feet long and sliding salt pots down to each other. !!! Silver service, sea bream with chorizo and mussels, solid silver cutlery - what a meal, oh and Donna had Sausage and mash !!! Ok... Who am I trying to kid.... I have a long way to go before I exchange glamping for roughing it in the outback!! Shortly after that photograph, the rucksack was upgraded to much larger and harder to transport suitcase. Sacrificing my precious spine for extra clothing!
