... prime real estate too that was ocean front in an area that used to be commercial gardens. Lush and beautiful. Next stop, an Azorean ceramic factory which has remained in business for a couple hundred years. Saw the whole process from mixing the clay to putting on the traditional blue and white glaze. Rui was climbing the shelves in the bargain bin to find Debbi a plate with a hydrangea on it. Now that is one helpful man. Managed a coffee stop in the marina at Vila ...

... the people we have encountered, and we only just arrived.

We stay put, it is dark, late for us and it has been a long day. We will see what tomorrow brings. The weather is the big question and will dictate our activity. No matter what we will embrace this island as much as we can.

We are in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean on the island of Sao Miguel, hard to believe!

      More tomorrow, good night.
