Yesterday I discovered that there may be people worse off than us. On one of our interminable trips up (or down) in the elevators, a rare young couple, mid twenties, were already in the car. There were a few moments of awkward silence then I chirped up with "So, what's it like to be the youngest passengers on this ship?" Suddenly their faces contorted into mad, stare eyed grins and ...
... wound our way back down the mountain, with Pedro keeping up his interminable commentary about how wonderful the Eyesores are. Finally we got to the hotel where we were to try Azorian wine and cheese. This was actually what everyone was really waiting for and was quite nice and a successful end to a tedious day.

We did The Bridge, the costume wardrobe, the galley and also the laundry. 12,000 sheets a week and that's just for the passengers not including the crew.
