Vaccinations - I am a bit paranoid so I wanted jabs for everything I could have them for: Hep A, Hep B, Hep C, polio, rabies, typhoid, yellow fever, jap. enceph., meningitis. (I know, it looks quite comprehensive but I'd rather be safe than sorry). It's taken us 6 months to have them all. There were times we would visit our ...
Oxford, England, United Kingdom mgarman... not possible. Now, with just 3 months to go it's real, it's tangible, it's there, waiting around the corner.

Many things have happened during those 16 months of waiting. We got married with Michal and as a result of that my surname is far less difficult to pronounce and far easier to spell. Unfortunately, the same doesn't apply to my first name, Malgorzata, which has sadly remained a nightmare. Call me Gosia, please.

Bath, England, United Kingdom sares12www.volunteersecuador.com www.intiwarayassi.org Well folks, that's it, it's all over. The fat lady has sung, the shouting has happened, Roy Orbison is in agreement. Yep, I'm back home in Blighty. It was a bit of a sudden decision, I only booked the flight a couple of weeks ago - I'd hit the travellers wall. I'd got to the point where I simply didn't really want to see another church/museum/view/Inca thing. At that point its time to head home, so I ...

Swindon, United Kingdom chelbynz... Glastonbury. I thought that it was going to be more like a Mardi Gras parade where they throw trinkets off the floats. But instead, all watching were to throw coins at the floats as they came by to gather all "alms" offered. This was a charity event and all money donated would be given to charity. The floats kept coming and coming and coming. It would have been much more enjoyable if there wasn't sooooo much to enjoy. The parade lasted at ...
