The last 15 miles went down over 400 feet which meant a whole bunch of locks which could take 8 hours or more to traverse. Some parts of the canal, like in Syracuse, have been abandoned and filled in, other parts made into bike trails. But there is still a canal system and you ...

Drove from Pittsburgh to Bucknell. Although the way we stopped at State College and drove through the Penn State campus....which is huge. Beaver Stadium is easier the largest stadium that I've seen. Before taking the tour, we had lunch in Lewisburg - which is a town of 6000 that connects with Bucknell. It's a very small town! We loved Canadian Walmarts - they offered great free wifi - to date, we haven't found free wifi at any US Walmarts.

The Canadians we met seemed pretty happy with their lives and all took pride in being Canadian.

... Bucknell University a very prestigious Liberal Arts College. It is a very pretty campus but you have to have money to attend as tuition is almost $49,000 a year. The college is located in a very quaint town, Lewistown. We really liked the looks of this town.

Our driving included visiting America's Largest Free Admission Amusement Resort, Knoebels!
Parking is even free and you only pay for the rides you want to do. I rode ...
