My oh my, Cornwall
Cornwall had a lot to live up to after the dreamy sandpits of Hertfordshire, but in its own way it excelled itself. Not being shy of a day of crying kids, we faced a six hour slog (publisher speak for car journey with children) into the countryside as the supermarket opening times and an incredibly long nappy change had prevented us from stocking up on supplies the night before. We had been informed that there was only one farm worth staying in and we were determined to make it.

Day 36 - Wedding #2
After being in Spain and France, one thing I was really looking forward to about coming back to England was a proper cooked breakfast, and this morning we were treated to far more than just a proper cooked breakfast. A choice of many cereals, a big bowl of fresh fruit salad, toast and various condiments, and of course - tea! This was then followed by our cooked breakfast - bacon, eggs etc. We ate plenty to keep us going past lunch.

Day 35 - Paris to Cornwall
... that feeling one gets when one is quite tired after a long day at work, and blobbing on the couch struggling to keep ones eyes open. Normally, at home, and not on drugs, you eventually haul yourself up off the couch, to the bathroom to brush your teeth, and then to bed, by which time you are wide awake again.
