The Andoman sea is just on the west coast of us and the Gulf of Thailand further north on the east coast. We're sticking to the west coast for awhile as we’ll be heading to Burma later this month.

I typed in 'Phuket Camping’ on World maps on the ipad and the magic blue line made a beeline straight to it, with various instructions on when to turn and where. So it was an easy drive to follow, though it did take us through the ...

After a bumpy start which involved missing our train from Bendigo to southern cross station yesterday, and a swift decision to drive to the airport, we have finally arrived today in Phuket after 11hrs of travel! And David, the rock climbing yogi who would randomly start chanting this 40verse chant asking us to join in like we knew the words, or even understand what was going on. OR expect us to benefit from it. It was more chaotic than trying to follow Ukrainian mass. He told us stories of him in Mexico chanting the same mantra for 12 ...

    Tips for travel to Thailand!!

... of mind. They were a good company, on time and very helpful. I saw a lot of Flight Centre Ltd clients getting on the bus, with their FC wallets or Escape. Was good to see. Water and food. I did not get sick or feel ill at any time. I drank bottled water, coke and drinks from the hotel. I ate at the hotel or restaurants. I did not eat street food, or cart food- that to me is a stomach problem waiting to happen. I noticed the hotels charge ...
