The trip home went as planned and nothing very unexpected happened. Under occasional sprinkles I dropped the car , which is much easier in the new terminal; they now have an rental office outside the terminal. The old procedure was a bit strange. All the car rental desks were in the secured arrival zone. So to drop off a car, one had to go in the outdoor (posted "no entry") pass the Forex bureaus and find a staff member who would ...

... Carlsbad we drive to Dallas. Best known for the murder of John F Kennedy in 1963. We visit the place where it happened and meet a guy who was there in 1963. He was 13 years old at the time and is convinced there was more than one shooter. Every day you can find him on the grassy knoll , telling his story and selling magazines that support his view. We also watch a baseball game at Globe Life Park in Arlington. Rangers vs Giants. Rangers win thanks to a 2-run homer by Josh Hamilton ...

... is more of a first birthday tradition to have a smash cake but we thought it would be fun - and it was!!

The next day, we went to Mama's work where there was a grand Elmo party. It was great to see everyone. Addy really enjoyed the salami and honey sesame cashews! ... the rain. But, David (the landlord) said that the township sprays for mosquitoes. They have trucks that go up and down all the roads/streets and spray. Plus, they have been doubling up on their schedule because of the rainfall. We have gone for walks every day and have not been bothered by mosquitoes.
