... Thanks for following along, it's been fun and gratifying to know friends and family have been on the trip with us.

Many have commented it was "the trip of a lifetime". Well, yes... but we hope not, more one of our trips during our lifetime. We're already thinking about where to go next.

What I didn't know about the event was that we were all supposed to show up in animal costumes. I went in regular clothes and everyone else ...

... of the motor-heads back at work. A quiet ale in a sidewalk pub and then its time to head back to the train station. Thirty-five minutes until my train comes - what to do? Oh, OK, lets have another pint. Arriving back at Leamington Spa station I notice that the Grand Union Canal runs almost alongside, so I spend a relaxing half-hour walking along and checking out some of the narrowboats moored alongside or weaving their way ...

... runs scored wont be "official" tour runs but as it turns out Cooky and I both say we don't care - in our heads they are good runs.

I get in with about 5 overs remaining and finish with 24no off 20 balls with 4 boundaries. Now those that know me will not believe this. One a cover drive, one through wide long-on and two through backward square leg - and all four along the carpet. I must be learning something on this tour!!
