... we told that we would wait until the rain slows down. They told that the rains were in the forecast, and we might have to wait long for the rain to stop. Since the main entrance was in sight, and we knew that we can take a Shuttle from there, to the upper entrance, we started walking and in a few minutes, it stopped raining.
There we took the Shuttle to the upper entrance and were back to the Car. Was time to say bye to Watkins and make the move to Elmira.

We decided to pass up the little spur trail off to the right near the beginning of the trail and hit that on the way back. We made it all the way to the end of the gorge trail at the top of the stairs of the Upper Entrance in 45 min and back to our starting point at the main entrance at 10 AM (with 80 pictures and movies on the camera).
