      ... to another tourist in the restaurant until it gets so unbearably hot that a pool dip is necessary. In I go - the water is freezing and has the desired effect of cooling me down sufficiently that once I am out I can face the sun beds (which are conveniently not in the sun at all).       ... a lot about Goa; some good and some bad, but we took the view that our time meeting new people and staying in beach huts was still firmly on the agenda. And Palolem beach provided us with just that. Our home was a very basic pink hut with cold showers, but stepping out onto the beach from our room made us feel like jackpot winners.
