We found our way back into Oxford and paid the exorbitant parking fee, then went for a wander around this beautiful city. Around every corner was a fabulous building, or a garden among the university grounds. We climbed a tower and got a bird's eye view, visited Christ Church, and even visited briefly the Ashmoleum museum - free entry - before the meter ran out. We spent he morning exploring both the Fashion and American museums. The American museum was set by 2 brothers , and is still privately funded. They display 50 quilts at a time from their selection of 350 . Some way out clothing at Fashion museum, from Georgian styles to Mary Quant. Nice lunch at the museum, and then a tour of Bath. The crescent, and Royal crescent are amazing. Free time in the afternoon, shopping at Marks and Spencer. Dinner in a pub , then ...

Wow! Today was the best day so far, purely because of the Cheddar Gorge. It was amazing breathtakingly beautiful to descends between it's cliffs. I'm so glad I went there and would love to revisit. ... town called Mumbles which had a lot of country styled bed and breakfasts and a really nice restaurant on the water called Verdi's....
