More in hope than anticipation ...

A travel blog entry by jmcefalas on Nov 10, 2014

Thanks to the lovely @plaingoldband wending her way through America I was inspired to start this blog. The title is apposite. I love home, I love the sun streaming through the east window in the morning, I love the birds flitting across the window from hedgerow to hedgerow unconcerned by my presence. I love having the radio burbling in the background and being safe, secure and settled. But I have itchy feet. They have had a few random ...

How it started

A travel blog entry by rhys13morgan on Jun 14, 2013

... The proudest moment in life was on the 15th April 2012 when Caleb Lewis Morgan entered my life. The moment he arrived I cried like I had never cried before. The feeling of being so happy I had never experienced before- And like others had explained to me previously it was a feeling that you could never really describe. For the next year or so my gorgeous better half ...

... big thing I think, once I get home, is to cook/bake more: I'm just missing so many basics I can't bring myself to buy and use once....

Before I went out, I took down my mirror and set up a make-shift hair cutting area: catch paper on the floor, kid scissors, bobby pins, and a shoddy mirror. Hair grows back and I've never seriously screwed this up, good track record right? Right. Actually did a half decent job of it, enough so I can see without being bothered ...
