        We had a gorgeous B&B last night. A beautiful house in the country run by a lovely young couple and owned by the Lord of the Manor who also owns the local pub and everything else in the area. We shared our house with the eight Aussies from Brisbane and had a night of wine, great food and lots of laughter.

        ... rally drive experience!!! We head back to Cockermouth and will go straight to the pub - the Trout Inn for tea. It's a lovely pub with the usual myriad of dining rooms and we opt for one that is empty. I order trout and samphire - Pete has the usual fish and chips.
