    ... be quick on most of the track - it was mercilessly up and down or narrow or uneven, ending with a mammoth uphill, followed by the steepest descent I have ever experienced. It was a grassy path there, so not fatal to lose your footing, but took great concentration! And muscle power! But the scenery was out of this world, and the day was sunny and we were HOT!     ... other tidbit I forgot to say was that the Beatles first performance, with Ringo Starr as drummer, was at Port Sunlight! Quite historic. I think it was £30 to play for 60 to 80 minutes!
