    ... moors. The pink and purple of the heather makes for beautiful scenery, however they do lack the Wuthering Heights type bleakness of a few days ago and in Scotland.     Brekky buffet at 8am, packed car and left at 9.30 am. BIG drive today, found our way to M4 then away. Stopped at service centre near Stafford, Burger King. Left M6 just before Carlisle ventured off to find Hadrian's wall and for and afternoon cuppa. Ventured over the border into Scotland, then via lesser roads (lanes) for a our 15 miles.
