So far the day has started well. The trek from my apartment to my gate (via uber) took less than 30 mins (including check in, checked luggage, and passing security). Just landed in Toronto. Saw the CN Tower on my way in. Flew through customs and now in the international terminal. The terminal is massive and luxurious. If a library crossed with an airplane hanger and gave birth to plentiful top brand retailers and seemingly endless rows of counters ...

... were waiting inside. Eventually Robin & I worked out what may have happened, so we walked out and found them.
We then went hunting for flowers to give to the LEAP organisers before driving to the Marriott Airport Hotel for the farewell dinner. It was actually a pretty ordinary buffet dinner for $60 per head but the speeches and company were good which is the main thing. Daisy said she wasn't going to say anything but she couldn't help herself ...

... Our hosts, Lorraine and Rob, kind and considerate and we enjoyed a lovely barbecue with them that evening. It turns out they are retired musicians. We told them about Tattletale Saints and they gave us one of their own cd's. We had fun. I think they did too. Oh John, I gave them one of your drum rolls and a symbol finish. We also had a visit from my brother's former wife ...
