    ... from! We decided to have dinner at Bubba Gump which was uber filling!!!! Then walked another block down and a sweet sugary smell pulled us in to Magnolia Praline Company where we bought a couple of little special treats for tonight. Coming back to our room, we crossed bourbon street again and it's definitely a little roarcas and a tad intimidating lol. But early night for us as we gave early morning plantation & swamp tour :) Definitely liking New Orleans so far ...

    Stopped at a liquor store and bought a pint of Bacardi and some coke for the room. There was a jazz band playing at the Gazebo and another one at the Market Cafe when I walked passed on the way back to the hotel. Great atmosphere. My man at reception had come through and relocated me from room 526 to room 1444, which has a better outlook, but both rooms are a little bit pokey. At least I have a window - the rooms on the inside of the building don't. Great ...

    Checked into the Hilton-San Diego Resort around 10:30 in the morning. Parked the bike and took a cab over to the airport to greet Karen. Once we got karen settled in we took the bike over to Point Loma Seafood on a recommendation from our friend Mike.
