New Day, New Bus Driver...Day 2...Game Day

Further shena****ns from Edgar caused a rather late arrival to the game with only ten minutes remaining, non the less it was still an atmosphere to witness as the fanatical Georgetown Hoyas faithful continued chanting and raving until the very last siren. After some post game interaction it was time to head back to the hotel after a long but excellent day. It was a great way to kick off the tour as everyone seemed to enjoy themselves thoroughly! Just a Little Time With Some Fast Growing Boys!

weeks end we were with Jessie, John and Abby in Gastonia. John had my
“new” bike ready for me and we did a trial ride at the Whitewater
Center. What a wonderful park for any community! Wilderness adventure
within fifteen minutes of anywhere ...
Glad to be on the road again
... Park at Skyline Drive, and headed south for about 50 miles. It was a great drive, much cooler in the mountains, wunderful scenery and even a few deer were spotted along the way.

... I have never seen anyone using the other facilities in this park. When it opened in 1995, the Gauntlet was voted as one of the "Top 10 New Courses" in the US by Golf Digest. Unfortunately through mismanagement by Stafford County, the conditions of the course have slowly degraded through the years.
