... Oh so YUMMMY!!! After eating we went to restobar overlooking the Cebu, what a spectacular view!! I am so glad we got a night out, I loved hanging out with our friends without children

While back to school shopping, Brad was also busy shopping for a tattoo artist in Cebu. We would randomly stop and talk to people who had nice looking ink and ask them for the name of their artist then look them up on Facebook. I had gone to a yoga ...

Thought about starting this blog since I have been traveling more than usual with my husband for his social work for Consuelo Foundation and Child and Family Service Philippines. Met up with our companion Eli Demayo the engineer who will assess and map out the plans for any buildings we are going to repair or build. Traveling to this island takes awhile. From Manila you fly to Cebu. And then either rent a car for about 3,000. Or take a bus which will ...

Dec 7: en route and Cebu Airbus 330-330, Business Class! We had to take these seats due to a change in our HK layover. Our seats are little cubicles that stretch out as beds. These would be wonderful, though totally unaffordable, for the overseas flights. We are greeted by name by the attendant, offered orange juice, hot wash cloth and blanket before the plane evens backs out. I thought the flight was to be 4 hours, but it is looking like only 2.5. Too bad, given ...

Sweating it out in Cebu City, the Philippines!

... an interesting neighbourhood- obviously not for the wealthy but every single person smiled, was friendly and said good evening etc! Coming from Vietnam the difference is more than a little disturbing but very welcome indeed! Ended up taking the easy option and eating in a pretty posh (for us!) restaurant...watching the 3 pet sharks swim up and down a channel by the tables.
