    Sunday, Hit The Road Jack

I'd anticipated my first day's driving to be tough, around 300 miles on mainly single carriageway roads, to Dubuque, Iowa. Minneapolis has many interstates that criss-cross, and they seem to have a reluctance to sign anything but local exits, so it's mainly guesswork. Sunday morning is always a good time to leave a city in the Midwest as many …

Great guys here that were willing to make me feel at home as well as carry a conversation for hours. One bizarre highlight was giving an impromptu presentation to a Platteville Intro to College class of 20 or so freshman on Greek life. The other presenters were Joe, another SigEp and Sydney, the student body ...

Day 28. Dubuque, Iowa We went to a great river talk this morning by the American Queen's Riverlorian. The highlight of the hop-on hop-off today was the cable car ( they call it elevator) apparently the worlds shortest and steepest. It was built by a banker who went home for lunch, by horse and buggy it took 30 minutes, it didn't give him time to have a nap, so he built this cable car. Being ...

This new adventure started at 7am with some donuts and a lot of packing still left to do. Thank goodness Mom was there to save the day, like always. She helped me pack and Dad bought donuts and we were out the door at 9am ready to head to Madison.

After picking up Kyle, we went to the airport, dogs included of course, to get going on this adventure. Unfortunately, my bag was a beast at 60lbs. Like always, saying good bye is always the toughest, so ...

... they are nocturnal but such cute little things. Can't understand why they aren't liked round here bless them. Once done cooing over them me and jenny headed to the gym. Was so good to get sweaty weirdly. Back on the treadmill and doing my weights felt so good after eating so much rubbish food. Rubbish in calories but it tastes good!! I showed jenny a thing or two about weights and her little face giving them a go was a treat. It was then back home for some eggs for breakfast ...
