Today we walked 3km to the Delwara Jain Temples. The architecture was stunning. Vimal Vasahi was built in 1031 and it took 14 years to complete. The builders pay was dependent on the amount of dust they carved out. Because of this the whole place was very intricately carved and it was so beautiful. A peaceful retreat in the hills

He took us to a hotel where we were given a tiny cell like room with dirty peeling walls and which was not at all cheap. This is the norm in Mumbai which is by far the most expensive city in India.
