    ... last hill before we reached town, there before us, sitting majestically in a cove, was an iceberg! What a beautiful unexpected sight it was, glowing turquoise and iridescent green. We had no idea it was there and it was quite a thrill to come upon it so unexpectedly. The locals were out looking at it too and said it had just drifted into the small cove that morning - timing is everything!

    ... we arrived that a sweet gal in the visitor's center told us there haven't been any whales sighted in over a week, and not to waste our money. So, off we went down the road to the Long Point Lighthouse and wooden boat museum. Very foggy, and the fog horn scared the **** outta me - I did not know this was still a working lighthouse!
