A great hotel complex. Beautiful views and grounds and nice health club and pool. Less than an hour from wine country.

... Just before the lighthouse is a huge area of Public Lands. I investigated online. It is called Stornetta Public Lands, ornetta.html. It is a California Coastal National Monument. You can walk for miles along the cliffs. It has amazing scenery!

Farm land stretches for miles upon miles throughout Highway One. In Sonoma County north of Bodega Bay, Highway One passes through open-range areas ...

Yes my mind did wander to all three last night as I tried to sleep amidst the loud voices of the frogs or crickets (such a city girl, I am not sure of the difference) and the regularly spaced water hitting the post. Ric******* Grove Campground and RV Park. Nothing spectacular and not nearly as clean as the night before's RV park in Port Orford but nice in its own way.. and probably a real star in its heydays-- ...

... was extremely circuitous and long. We had to rely on our radar and chartplotters. Rick was inside the wheelhouse steering like he was playing a video game. The radar showing the buoys and channel markers as bright green globs. The chartplotters displaying the location of the boat in the channel. The depth sounder was letting us know we had plenty of water under our keel. All the while Patti was in the cockpit with a search ...
