A great day of adventure and restoration

... the bluff. It was awesome! I had not seen the sun set on the ocean horizon in a long time. It was magical to me and I am so happy I stayed to watch it. After the sun set, I left, along with many other people, so we were in a trail of cars for a while.

I ran into a huge traffic jam on the way home too on one of the highways, but I still felt great. I feel like this day restored me and connected me to my true self again.

Having a whale of a time

... At one stop we noticed that some blue was creeping into the sky and the water, so we turned back toward Bodega Bay to try to see some more whales. We made our way back to find the spot more crowded than it had been in the chilly morning. We unpacked our camping chairs and the picnic lunch we had bought and waited. We didn't see any more whales but we had enjoyed a day that we'll never forget. Enjoy the pics.
