... mile mark 243 begins miles of sunflowers. Unfortunately, they are each facing down and it is hard to see them. Made it to our campsite at Interior RV Campground at 4:14 Mountain Time (6:14 on our bodies!). Cocktails are in order after 8 hours 45 minutes on our bods. On stops along the way we saw various highway art, the Corn Palace, which last year was undergoing renovations and is now complete, and a little thirteen lined ground squirrel. The outside of the Corn Palace is decorated with parts of the corn plant.

... took Izzie over to the pool for a swim. Mom and Dad bought her a little inflatable so she enjoyed sitting in the water and splashing about. When we got back, Dave made an excellent dinner. Dave is quite a good cook. By the time dinner was over, Izzie was ready for bed so the kids headed back to the condo. About this time, the hockey game started. I love it when the stars align and the Black Hawks win.

... it worked. Izzie went back to sleep and woke up at 7:30. She was a perfect angel during the night. She woke up with a smile on her face. Izzie had a great breakfast of formula, raspberries, and bananas. After breakfast we took Izzie for a walk around the condo. We stopped at the swing for a couple of minutes.
We met up with Lisa and Dave at about 10:00am. Again, it was a perfect night with Izzie.
