Apparently I brought the wrong phone charger on the trip, and my phone was almost dead last night so I turned it off before bed to save the battery. When I turned it back on to check the time, it said it was 10 o'clock! I couldn't believe I'd slept 12 hours, much less that Addie had been that patient. But there it was. After breakfast Sunday morning at the Sheraton we enjoyed a pleasant drive out of New York City and camped in Mystic, Connecticut. Today, I left my home in Sag Harbor, NY with my
poodle Charley. I have decided to go on
this trip in order to rediscover the country that I once knew. I plan on going all over the united
states. I will be traveling in my camper that has a bed in the back for me to sleep in some nights during my trip. Today, I am on my way to my sons
boarding school in Massachusets.
