      ... cycle paths, there are numerous barriers to lift your bikes through. This is to deter motorbike riders on the trails, but proves to be quite difficult for fully loaded touring bikes. So not only did we spend a lot of time negotiating these barriers, a significant amount of time was spent pouring over our maps (we'd screen shot on our iPad) to ensure we were on the correct route!       ... on being away for around 2 and a half months and would like to visit Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam as well as Thailand. I have no set in stone plans yet, apart from a hostel booked for the first few nights.
