    The morning weather was cloudy but dry (the forecast rain stayed away) so we decided to do the walk along the coast from Broadstairs to the Viking ship at Pegwell Bay that we wanted to do. After a gentle start we set off from Margaret's at about 10.00.

    ... little girl called Poppy.

    Leigh-on-sea is very pretty and it has been lovely to have a couple of relaxing days - especially as the air was fresh from some rain so we got a break from the humidity as well!

    Off now to stay in London with Sam and his boyfriend Jaco, they've bought an apartment in Greenwich so we'll hang there for a couple of days and then jet off for NYC.
