Hello all! This is the start of my travel blog.
I have started up this blog so that I can log my travels, and I have listed the places I have booked to go see (but obviously this will be added to, particularly as I tour New Zealand).

This is all very new and exciting to me! I only booked the tickets on Saturday! I will go to New Zealand in January ...

Today we started off by heading to kings cross station for a epic photo opp at platform 9 3/4! We continued on the tube to Westminster's Abbey and had a lovely audio tour. But I feel a slight sense of irritation because I don’t drink ...

... a turn on a trampoline that you can bounce on with the belt on so you can do turns & bounce higher. We didn't see Morgan do it because we ended up going down to the Turner Contemporary museum at one end of the beach. Jon & I had wanted to visit this museum to see what it had. I was hoping it would have some Turner pictures in it ( Google Turner British artist & I'm sure you'll see some of his work) but it was all contemporary stuff. The ...

... for the older areas. The higher we climbed, the better the views became - we could see right across the town, nestled between two high points, and down to the port. And as we climbed, the wind became stronger (although the taxi driver has said it was a 'good' day).

Eventually we reached the Roman pharos - lighthouse. This has been an important site since the Bronze Age, or earlier - the earth ramparts (and they are very high, very steep, and very impressive, especially ...
