We used our Eurail Pass to travel first class for most of the trip between Strasbourg and Interlaken. No mingling with the common folk for us today. This is traveling in style on the high speed train.Three countries in three three hours. France, Germany, Switzerland.

We got off from hotel a bit later than planned because the locker got stuck and had to wait for it to be opened. We then took the free bus trip from Metropole stop towards Interlaken Ost station. Bought Jungfrau tickets at 25% discount because of Eurail passes. took a beautiful ride up with 2 changes in between to reach the 11,333 ft climb to top of Europe. Great place - temp at -8•C and winds of 60kmh. Watched from obesrbatory platform ...

The entertainment was great. Horn blowing, flag throwing, yodelling and the accordian. Somehow I was asked on stage to yodel and if that wasnt bad enough then were asked to skull a glass of beer. The first and last time I will do that.
Finished the night with some dancing before walking home. Overall a great day in three ...

Hoping to avoid this fee, we found a train that goes through Strasbourg end route to Paris.
