... nicht im zeitdruck war. das kleingeld hatte ich bereits vorbereitet, damit ich die blechschlange nicht unnoetig verlaengern wuerde. doch ich hatte die rechnung ohne den eingelassenen autofahrer gemacht: dieser hat mir meine parking gebuehr bezahlt, weil ich so nett war, ihn vorzulassen.. wuerde uns das in der schweiz passieren? nein, ganz bestimmt nicht :-)

... fuer ein volles haus ueber das long-weekend (die menschen auf diesem kontinent feiern waehrend drei tagen das erntedankfest, hier thanksgiving genannt). am fruehen morgen, wir bereiteten gerade das fruehstuecksbuffet vor, ging ploetzlich der feueralarm los. ich kenne diesen sehr schrillen und vor allem ohrenbetaeubenden ton aus dem flugzeug, doch im haus hatte ich keine ahnung, wie dieses ding zu stoppen war. yvonne rannte in die ferienwohnung ...

Penseu que en una ciutat mitjana com Kelowna amb 150.000 hab l'hockey es la passio local, dir-vos que l'equip surt amb un potent 'Fire woman' de The Cult i cada cop que es para el joc per una falta o temps mort hi ha talls de Rage Against the Machine, AC/DC, Franz Ferdinand, The Who, ... la llastima es que val com a experiencia, el joc no acabo d'entendre'l gaire :-(

... flew by fast so it felt like less than a year. In another aspect, I've had more than a years worth of experiences and memories so it feels like more than a year. Either way of looking at it i wish i was still there. I have to be honest, it's been a difficult transition back into Canadian life. aufgaben sind. die frage nach den hauptaufgaben hat sich bereits auf
der fahrt zur myra-canyon-ranch geklaert: zurzeit ist joerg, der mann von
yvonne, auf einem 4-woechigen trekking in saskatchewan und ich bin
sozusagen seine vertretung. dies bedeutet, dass ich die pferde, hunde
und katzen zu betreuen habe sowie die ganze waescherei und den einkauf
fürs b&b erledige. daneben steht taeglich
zimmer/kueche/aufenthaltsra um putzen und waesche aufh ...

... that could be seen from the ship. They were quite close, the first pod had 3 whales in it and the second had 4, with two young ones. We hope to see more whales close up when we go whale watching from Victoria. We finally reached our very comfortable and swish B & B at half past nine and after a brief bite to eat, we all fell exhausted into bed - it had been a very long day!!

... few days but its not them same without her, I'll see her soon enough. Like I said my flights are booked, I leave Montreal sept 12 to London, Gatwick, then I have 12 hours to get over to Stanstead to fly to Valencia. If anyone has any advice I'm all ears, we have hardly any set plans so if there is something interesting or fun let me know.
