... by the way, move in date is still ambiguous). The pastor there got back to me and said they actually have rooms in their churches and I could stay with the 17 or so kids already there. I'm quite surprised with the offer, but pleased all the same. The first people I meet sharing a faith and a university with me? I couldn't ask for anything better. Is it worth mentioning I'm excited or can you already tell?

Why am I updating today? A month today I leave for England, sometime in the afternoon and arrive on the 19th (according to local time). It seemed fitting to write an entry today of all times and to of course wish all of you a wonderful Christmas with family and friends, good food and cheer, remembering why we celebrate at this time of year.

Kelowna and back again... Yet again, it's been a long while since I have updated my blog.. but now seems a good time to update it as I sit in Calgary Airport with a 3 hour delay. On Monday 1st of August I flew from Comox Airport, Vancouver Island to Calgary, and then from Calgary to Kelowna.
