... the new oil and gravel boned well… down the road in a turn out we spotted a semi-tanker with propane, which I’m sure used to re-fill the tank on each machine… easily 20 belly dump trucks working to supply the surface ...

... holes, that eventually join up underground so the river disappears for a bit and comes out somewhere else. We continued along the country roads, through small towns. In one of the towns the church has a sign outside advising that "Satan called, he wants his weather back"! Once again we had bid on accommodation and once again we come up trumps. The hotel we get in Kelowna may not be quite as nice as the place in Whistler, ...

... to make the best of it.
James, Asher and Grandaddy took off skiing with Asher promptly proving that he no longer needed a 'leash'. At four years old he was barreling down the hill and, by the end of the week, he certainly gave his poor old Grandmama a run for her money.
Big White is a great family oriented ski hill.... whether you ski or not there is always something to see or do. Though there is ice skating and tubing ...

... the mountain but It was so nice and warm being home, we just relaxed and just stayed in. Sue was leaving very early the next day so she had packing to do and we had some homework to catch up on. It was dark and the boys, Rob, Ethan and Cooper decided to go for a night ski, they had a ball. Our last night with Sue, it was so good having her here and catching up, but I'm glad we weren't going back up the mountain tomorrow.

          ... to Kelowna.

That night we had a scrumptious BBQ dinner put on by the Samesun Kelowna backpackers and then went to play some bowling! While I didn't come first, I still somehow managed to get two strikes! YUS!

Note: still having internet issues, so posting updates and then will upload pics hopefully tomorrow :-)
