Sleepy towns
... off-season' thing definitely has a lot of pros and cons. Great that we are getting such cheap accommodation and ridiculously fabulous service, because everyone is so quiet! But also frustrating that we've got limited access to things. It hasn't snowed enough to kick off the ski season, but all the 'summer' activities are closed. Some Random Campsite
Kelowna was another nice town, much bigger than Golden and Vernon, also with lots of farming and vineyards in the area. After touring around a little bit, we learned that its also a much more expensive place to live. It's considered the 'Napa Valley’ of Canada, complete with vineyards, a beautiful lake, and lots of sailing in the area. We didn’t get a good look at Ogopogo the lake monster, maybe he was sleeping.
