... a treat & took us the scenic way around. Our lovely host Estelle greeted us with a lovely afternoon tea ( almost dinner time) & we settled into our room. A very peaceful environment as a far cry from the hustle & bustle of people & cities that we had been used to over the last 4-5 weeks. Forget how long we've been away. To cut a long story short ( tired) we drove back into the village of Wadebridge ( about 5 mins) & had a lovely Indian meal. Tasty. That's all. Sleepy ...

Then back to uthe cottage to have our Cornish pasties ordered from the farm shop across the road, strawberries (about the best you have ever tasted) and Cornish lemonade (Lill's bingo prize from last night). Enjoyed these in the sunshine in the cottage garden. Then it was into Liskeard - Greg and Mel to watch the cricket at the local pub and Lill and I hit the shops including the op shops! Then back to the pub ...

Delicious fresh fish lunch at The Wheelhouse on the wharf. Then went on a little fishing boat around the harbour with a very Cornish fisherman who sounded a lot like a pirate. Great fun and the perfect day for it. Back to the cottage and Lill and I went to the ...

Slow start to the morning due to our huge day yesterday. Dropped the boys into Liskard to search for a pub that televised the cricket. The English and Australian rivalry lives on! Lill and I caught the train to Looe another little fishing village. It was a single carriage train that headed down the line then stopped and felt like it started to head backwards in the ...

... signs. Great port area with so much history and great shops. Then drove to St Austell but didn't think much of it or the traffic so continued on to find a little town of Probus. We found Nigel Orchards B&B and stayed in a nice suite down the back. Dinner after a short walk to the local pub and then watched the movie American ...
