... and the quality of the cars in the museum. Apparently Mr. George Staley rebuilt most of the cars in the museum and his brother worked on the antique tractors. It is definitely worth the price of admission. There are a lot of cars in there that you'd be hard pressed to find in the famous car museums around the country. And they even had more cars than the Prince of Monaco!!

Well, we won't talk about the morning as nothing went as planned... we tried booking a train ticket to Venice, which you would think would be simple, but NOOOOOO, stupid machine at railway station wouldnt work, then line was too long, then website was crashing... finally got tickets... but man what a saga. Also got a new suitcase as our big one died, and had a fight with moronic and arrogant hotel manager. Thats OK, Trip Advisor review will not be ...

... today so we drove about 200 miles. It rained on us all the way here and I took a few pics out the window, but the rain drops got in the way. I'll post them anyway since we didn't do anything exciting to take pictures of today. Hopefully we will get to Buffalo tomorrow before too late and I will be able to get some good pictures. Haven't looked at the weather there so I don't know if the rain will continue to follow us or not.
Middleville, New York, United States tiffintravelerHey mates, I'm writing you from home on the last day of 2008. I'm halfway packed and anxious to get going to London- one week from now I'll be sitting in JFK airport all ready to go. Just wanted to get this blog going before things get really hectic, so stay tuned for the life and times of Kayla in London (where pints are like 10 bucks, so donations are gladly accepted and greatly appreciated : ) ) Cheers and a Happy New Year, Kayla

Also, I will let you read the story of the ghosts invading a cast members room, but Joe tells it best so he will be adding to the blog soon. But now I have to create new blogs for the beginning of the trip so that I can introduce the other players on the road. For now, good night.

Real diamonds come out of the earth as very rough stones and must be cut in order to bring out the diamond's beauty. A Herkimer diamond known by its unusually bright reflection and clarity, however, is formed in the earth with a natural geometrical shape, giving it the appearance of having been cut by a jeweler. Because of this natural formation, many people ...
Herkimer, New York, United States eightydaze... We could tell we were in a very interesting place, but there was so much fog we couldn't really see much of anything. We did notice the incline we were driving up towards our camp sight. We finally found our camp sight around midnight. The lady Ellen spoke to on the phone had attached a map to the door to find our spot in the campground. We didn't want to wake anyone up at the hour so Ellen was going ...
Herkimer, New York, United States eightydaze... Well there's a restaurant here Mom, why don't we eat here?" "Well, son, I always thought I'd send you to university." Saw 30 Rock and the UN Buildings including the twisted gun sculpture and Uganda House (shout out to Christine!). Ate at a non-descript pizza joint and walked some more! That night we assembled on the rooftop to not see the fireworks for the Fourth of July through the clouds. Still, the view from up there is pretty magnificent and we enjoyed it anyway!
