... the car after all that climbing! On our way back down Pavagadh hill we stopped at a couple of different historic sites including ancient fort walls and an old mosque. Before lunch we made our way to another mosque, this one not in as good condition as the others so we didn't spend long here. For lunch, we went to a nearby hotel which we had a lovely Indian meal. ... some of the famous mosques of champaner. We visited 4 mosques in total and walked most of the way between each one. To finish the day we drove through the old champaner cite dal (which was now filled with small villages) and returned back to the resort. We finished the evening talking to Anand in the garden and had a beautiful curry and spicy pasta delivered to our room. I think we are the only visitors in the resort!!!!! - ...

It is kite festival time here too, a very big event, we were told. We see a lot of kites being bought and many remnants in trees and power-lines. I guess the lack of wind makes it difficult.
