Grocery shopping was before lunch, because that only makes sense. Ashley, Dj and I went to the Millercoors brewery tour. It was like an episode of 'how it's made' in there. Their business model makes no sense. Free tour AND 3 free beers? Maybe they don't understand how making money works, but we took full advantage of that! Lakefront brewery was next on the list of places to tour. This place was more our style. ...

Through the Time Warp and Into Milwaukee

When you type 'Milwaukee' into the GPS from Massillon Ohio, you get an estimated 7.5 hours of drive time. Apparently Google has yet to program time warps into the maps app. Not that time matters when you have no job, but let me break something down.

We left at 10am EST, lost an hour due to time zone change, and arrived at 7:45pm Wisconsin time. 10a-7:45p would be 9.75 hours then add in the lost hour and were at 10.75 hours total!?!

    We made it.

Milwaukee is a really cool city, the people are friendly, loads of great food and entertainment options and a pleasantly grungy feel, like a comfortable old chair set up in front of a 50 inch plasma and a fridge full of Miller light.

... treated me on my own invitation, so I bought them a gift certificate for their next visit. After Leon's, I started heading towards Lake Michigan. On the way I ran into a place called "Milwaukee Public Market". It was packed with different vendors selling all kinds of things out of their space. I saw a ham from Spain (fed only on acorns) selling for $125/lb. The guy behind the counter says they sell $50 worth per day on average. Weird. There was an oyster bar, a hot dog/burger ...
