This week was my first one at the Manatee Center, the second part of my internship! I was sad to leave the Florida Coast Spring Training's staff because I enjoyed my time with them. I was a little bit sceptic about my new job at the Manatee Center because it was a new world for me. I didn't know so many things about the fishes, manatees and the Indian River Lagoon. ... to get as far as the brittish virgin islands but at this rate i will probably only get a couple of weeks in the bahamas then fly back to ft lauderdale to head home. Better try to soak up a bit more sun. Its not strong sun here. Winter i spose. Though in comparison to Scotlands winter sun i guess its pretty strong.

... enough to be in Indiantown for their Thanksgiving Rendezvous. It's a 4 day celebration starting with a kickoff party on Mon. Nov. 19th with a Reggae band, island food, beer, and dancing. On Tuesday there was a marine flea market and when the sun went down it was Karaoke night with more food, beer and dancing.
