... We went for the sledge first. Brody was off and into it straight away, big smile on his face and hung around the adults for one trip - then he was just running up, and flying down, the sledge, the luge, the donuts, the mini donuts, the luge, the luge, the sledge.....he was effusively happy! A good start for the snow week! Marni, faced the sledge with brave and focused determination. Her face was serious all the way. Once ...

First event was a puddle which had iced over and then we had to stop at the railway crossing. The train that went by had a roof covered in snow...but the kids missed it! Breakfast first and then presents in the front room.

All the presents were sorted into little piles of for each child, so in they came and opened them. Brody got two lego technic cars, a shirt, some car stencils and Marni, a jumper, a car and caravan, a little bag and a mini mouse princess set. Off they all got to the serious business of playing. Just before ...

... s. We were tracking Santa on the ipad, pondering whether or not he had already been to leave presents at Brody and Marni's house. We also looked at Santa's naughty or nice scanner...poor Rosie came up on the Naughty list four times - then Brody worked out it wasn't real and told her it was okay and not to worry. Mike sprinkled reindeer dust in the back garden.
