... not appear dripping from any of them :( we also visited Bakewell to sample a Bakewell pudding (yes it's different from a Bakewell tart).
Today we said goodbye to our wonderful hosts and drove into York to catch the train back to London. The Viking museum of Jorvik is fascinating and the 'Shambles' is unbelievably quaint and cute.
Tomorrow I get to experience the great British railway system up close and we will be visiting Kings Cross station and Platform nine and three quarters ...

... so will need to research before next trip to a large town. On Saturday afternoon we visited the Harrogate Antique Centre a few miles from the city centre. There we had afternoon tea consisting of fruit laden scones with homemade raspberry jam and cream. Julie is not a fan of fruit scones so her plate ended up full of sultanas and quite a few crumbs.
