​Left Tewkesbury for nearby Malvern, the town where the Morgan Car Company has been making bespoke motor vehicles for over 60 years. The chassis and frames are made on site and then donor engines, gearboxes and drivetrains are added, also in the original factory.

Our stay in the United Kingdom this time is only about five days. We had travelled fairly extensively throughout the British Isles on our last trip and we always had planned to head South. The few days here were really only for getting over jet lag and for playing golf. Having done that, we hit the road to head to Birmingham and our flights to Spain.

... Shakespeare's daughters husband was a doctor. The New Place was the site of Shakespeare's home he had built after his success in London. A succeeding owner got tired of people wanting to see the site and had it demolished. It is now a garden area and a sculpture garden has been added to the back area. Beautiful. ... up and had a hot lunch. With the oven at gasmark 7 in 15 minutes, we enjoyed the Cornish specialty. Warmed up and slightly dried out, we headed upriver again. We locked thru our last one of the day and moored at Bidford-on-Avon by 1530 hrs.
