A Lovely Visit
... truck up to the edge of an ocean side cliff and let'r loose. The turbulence of the ocean carried a lot of the trash away but left the heavy ends, glass being one of those. Of course this practice is frowned on today. Ocean glass is very collectable for jewelry makers. We spent a bit of our visit collecting ocean glass.

Ft. Bragg was a lumber and fishing town for many years, and the Company Store is a repurposed reminder of the days when the Union Lumber Company was the only game in town. The Guest House is now a museum.
