      ... around St Joseph township and taking the smaller roads home. Bought some Halloween pumpkins for Madge's front steps from Sid's Pumpkin patch. We also stopped at Niles to see an old station which has been used in a number of films including Only the Lonely, Continental Divide and Midnight Run.

      Went to dinner at Madge's favourite Chinese restaurant, Mandarin House, where we had a lovely meal of beef Chow Mien, Moo Chu Pork and Szchezwan Chicken with peanuts.

      ... Information centre at Shipshewana where there were a number of quilts on display. They also has some quilt block patterns painted on the building. Next door at the Yoder hardware and department store, more blocks were painted on the building. In the car park, next to where the cars were parked, there was a section with hitching rails where about 6 horses and buggies were tied up.

      ... 160; The back window of our RV faces the St. Joseph River and it is enjoyable just sitting and watching the sparkles on the water.  I’m sure if the sun comes out tomorrow, there will be nice reflections of the trees in the water.  Right now, I’m watching a couple of fishermen slowing trolling downriver and there are a couple of boys a few feet us sitting on the bank with their fishing poles.  The temperature is ...
